    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing and using TESSA (Technical Equipment Support & Service Assistant), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

    2. Service Description

    TESSA is an AI-powered assistive tool designed to help biomedical and field service technicians document equipment servicing, generate reports, and organize service data. TESSA provides AI-generated assistance — not guaranteed outputs. It is not a certified authority and should not be used as a sole source of diagnostic or repair decisions.

    2a. Free to Use

    TESSA Field Notes is provided free of charge. There is no trial period, no subscription, no payment card requirement, and no report limit. We do not bill users for access to TESSA Field Notes, and no billing, renewal, or refund terms apply. We reserve the right to introduce reasonable usage safeguards to protect service availability. TESSA Operations, our separate service management platform for organizations, is offered under a separate written agreement.

    3. AI Disclaimer

    TESSA uses artificial intelligence to generate documentation, reports, suggestions, and insights. While these outputs are designed to be accurate and helpful, they are generated algorithmically and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice, certification, or endorsement. Users must independently verify all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for any purpose.

    4. User Responsibility

    Users are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating all information, reports, recommendations, and outputs generated by TESSA. All clinical, diagnostic, safety-critical, and operational decisions must be made by qualified personnel using established protocols, independent of TESSA output. By using TESSA, you acknowledge that you bear full responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of any content you use, distribute, or act upon.

    5. No Warranty

    TESSA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content, reports, or functionality provided by TESSA. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

    6. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TESSA, its developers, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to: (a) the use or inability to use the service; (b) any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content; (c) any decisions made or actions taken based on TESSA outputs; (d) unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; (e) any other matter relating to the service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought.

    7. Data Usage & Storage

    TESSA collects and stores service session data, equipment information, photos, notes, and reports for the purpose of providing the service. Data is stored securely and associated with your company workspace. By using TESSA, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of this data. TESSA may use anonymized and aggregated data for service improvement purposes.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All intellectual property rights in TESSA, including software, algorithms, AI models, user interface designs, branding, and documentation, are owned by TESSA and its licensors. Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on TESSA.

    9. Account Suspension & Termination

    TESSA reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these terms, misuse of the platform, unauthorized access attempts, or any activity that may compromise the service or other users.

    10. Company Workspace

    Users are associated with a company workspace. Data within a workspace is shared among all members of that company. Company administrators are responsible for managing user access within their organization.

    11. Privacy

    TESSA respects your privacy. Personal information is collected only as necessary to provide the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

    12. Modifications

    TESSA reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
